Just an update

So how cute are these two :-) We have been really sick around here lately and I pray that we are on the tail end of things! It has not been fun being cooped up!!!

Mark should find out sometime next week if he will have new job...of course he will though! We will not know anything probably until later on when he will start but it could be next month or it could be in 6 months. He already has all the necessary certifications to fly a 737 so that's a plus!

We are planning a Disneyland trip in April probably before the kids have to have a ticket (at 3 years old). A lot depends on Southwest and if he will be in class in April. We are also planning on doing some international travel possibly to Belgium for a cycling race and to France again. If and when Mark leaves SkyWest, he will lose FREE international travel. Last time we did Paris and touristy stuff so this time we will probably go to Bordeaux and maybe do some wine tours...just like Napa! It should be fun and a nice trip without kids (thanks MOM!).

Mark and I made an exciting purchase last weekend and bought a tandem road bike. We are planning on doing the Tour de Tucson race in November on the tandem bike. If nothing else, it will be my way to stay in shape, have some time away from the kids, and most importantly, have some time with Mark doing something we both love.

Well, that's about it for now. I hope all is well with everyone!

Little Monkeys

My two little monkeys! We had a playdate with our MOPS group at a gymnastics place yesterday and the kids had so much fun! They ran around, did somersaults, swung from the bars, jumped into the foam pit, jumped on several trampolines and their favorite was swinging like Tarzan on the ropes! We will definitely be going back there!!! Here are a few pics of them :-)

The BIG Day...Kelly and Ami finally!

Well, Kelly and Ami, two of my best friends, are officially married! We had a whirlwind of a weekend but everything turned out beautifully!

It started off on Friday morning where all the girls went to get pedicures. No pictures for that one! Then came the rehearsal at 3:00, dinner at 6:00 and then back to A Point in Time for drinks. We made it back to the hotel around 12:30 and Kelly, Laura, Robyn and I hit the sack pretty quickly!

The sday started around 7:00 for me the next morning but once the food arrived at 10am, it was pretty much go time! Hair appointments, make-up, running aroun getting flowers and sunglasses, dropping off rings and getting dressed! 3:00 the photographer took all of the girls for some photos! During the ceremony, during their first kiss, the parents all arranged for fireworks to go off. It was a total surprise to all (and Kelly thought we needed to "get down" because someone was sooting at us) but I was privied to the info beforehand. There was a second fireworks display during the cocktail hour that was really beautiful! All in all, it was a fabulous day...except for my feet feeling like they were ready to fall off all night!

Mark and I spent the night at the resort and actually slept in until 10!!! I didn't think I could sleep in that late anymore!!!

Here is a picture of Mark and I during some photo shots at the ceremony site. I am looking forward to seeing the pictures that that photographer took!

That's about it for now.

Napa in January

2 weekends ago I had the opportunity to celebrate the weekend in Napa in honor of Kelly's Bachelorette party! We had such a blast and I can't wait to go back with Mark! We spent 36 hours in what reminded me so much of France! I found some really nice wines that we brought home and have yet to open because we have all been so sick! In fact, we almost made an ER trip on Saturday because of Avery's possible dehydration from vomiting for 72 hours. Not fun but we are getting better with each day! Mark's interview went very well so now it is a waiting game!
Enjoy!
