Mark...the Cyclist

Mark was in a bike race 2 weeks ago and although it was pouring, he kept at it. He is the gold SkyWest jersey. The kids and I were freezing as we were bundled up in the back of the 4-Runner. It wasn't supposed to rain as far as we knew but, I guess God had other plans!

Disney on Ice

Ahhh, our first official Disney on Ice! It was the Disneyland Adventure featuring the Incredibles. Both Avery and Andon LOVED it!!! We were in the 13th row, not far from the ice! Of couse we had do get the token light-up, twirly toys (which Andon has already managed to break the feet off of his). Nana, Grandpa Dave, the kids and I had a lot of fun! We spent way too much money but hey, the tickets were free so we were able to splurge a little bit. Hope you enjoy!
For those of you who don't know, Mark has his SOUTHWEST Airlines interview on Monday Feb 5th! This will be a huge answer to prayer when he gets it! It's coming up quick but at least he won't agonize over the prep time! He will not hear anything until probably March but don't worry, you'll here it here!
I just got back from a trip with the gils to Napa, CA this weekend! It was so much fun! Mark survived the weekend (and so did the kids) but I missed them lots! I'll post some of my favorite photos as soon as I get them since I forgot my camera!

Where do your balloons go???

Yesterday at our local farmer's market, Avery and Andon each received a balloon. Well, they managed to hang on to them in the store but wouldn't you know it, as soon as we get to the parking lot, Avery's comes loose from her belt loop. Of course, she's devistated because ballons are just the best thing (which is ironic because I can't stand them because they have to pop at some time...it's actually a phobia of mine)! So I told her that it's all gone and went bye bye and that she can play with the red one we received at a birthday party last weekend when we got home. She was ok with that but said the sweetest thing...
"My balloon went up into the sky to see Jesus!". I was almost in tears....the sap that I am!!!

Beauty Make-over

Can you tell how excited Mark is getting his first Avery Lynn hair style! He had just come home from a bike ride and Avery couldn't wait to get a hold of his sweaty hair! So the good daddy that he is, he let her at it, without even taking a shower first! I love the look on his face so I had to share!

First Pedicure....they take after their mother

I just received a new foot spa, courtesy of Arbonne, and Avery and Andon were getting pretty ancy to try it out so here they are, right before bathtime (THEY HAVE UNDIES ON, geesh!), getting their first spa pedicure...ok, so no pedicure, but it sounds better than their first foot soak!
These kids sure are growing up more and more each day! Avery is 2 going on 16 and Andon is soaking up every single thing that we say! He talks like he's 16! We have now hit the, "No Mommy! Don't you tell me _______!" stage when I ask him to do something he doesn't want to do. Talk about a major frustration!!! We are getting started on their rooms this week. Andy is coming over to paint Avery's room on Thursday and Friday. She is getting a pink and green room with purple accents. As she will tell you, very strongly, I might add, "My favorite color is pink and Andon's favorite color is green." She loves pink....my true girly girl!!!

Turning 30

Well, as I sit here in bed at 12:01am...I am officially 30! I have never, ever dreaded a birthday! I now realize that PMS and the fact that I am without Mark or my family are playing a major role. I checked out my cousin, Jamie's blog (where she shared that they are expecting their 3rd little one in August) and decided to start one of my own. Mark has full control over www.thebibbeybaby.com and I am not sure how to add or delete photos and this is my way to share what's going on much easier!

So let me know what you think and I will do my best to add photos where I can...hopefully much easier than the website! Here is a cute photo of the kids with our first gingerbread house!
